Cranberry Homecheese

Ingredients

  • 2 liters Pure Valley Creamery fresh milk
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Cheesecloth

Instructions

  1. Heat the milk in a large pot until just before boiling.
  2. Stir in lemon juice and let the milk curdle. Remove from heat.
  3. Pour the mixture through a cheesecloth to separate curds from whey.
  4. Mix in salt and dried cranberries with the curds.
  5. Wrap the curds in cheesecloth, press gently, and let cool for 30 minutes.
  6. Unwrap and enjoy your homemade cranberry cheese!

Serving Suggestion

Serve with crackers or fresh bread for a delightful snack or appetizer.
